Inspiration Space launches a transformational retreat of progressive healing

WASING ESTATE, ALDERMASTON, BERKSHIRE

Monday 19th – Wednesday 21st  October 2015

October is a great time of year to kick-start an energising routine for the body and learn new reflective ways to tame the mind.  With the chill of Winter on the horizon this retreat will inspire you to enliven the body and introduce you to the benefits of turning your awareness inwards helping the mind to feel calm. Take some time off work and come and enjoy some days of energising body and breath work and mindful yoga.

Immerse yourself in the beautiful woodlands of Wasing’s private estate and enjoy daily sessions of Transformational Breathing, Yoga, Meditation, woodland walks, energising juices and healthy food.

Inspiration Space is the combined talents and passions of trained Transformational Breath facilitators Rebecca Dennis & Aimee Hartley and Advanced Yoga Teacher Jess Horn.  They will take you on a transformational weekend and ensure you will start the Autumn with more energy, less baggage and more clarity of mind.  You will learn and practice new progressive healing techniques, feel the benefits of healthy eating and have time to rest, restore and enjoy your own space.

THE VENUE:
Located between Reading and Newbury, just 45 miles from London, The Wasing Estate (www.wasing.co.uk) is 4,000 acres of Nania-esque ancient woodland, expansive countryside and winding rivers.  An oasis of calm, Wasing is the perfect place to breathe fresh air, fully relax and rejuvenate.

Transformational Breathing, Yoga and Meditation sessions will be enjoyed in The Garden Room, a light and airy space that has been designed for you to stretch out, exhale and relax. There are also two treatment rooms where you can enjoy deep body work in between sessions.

THE ACCOMODATION:
You can either stay on Home Farm, a delightful six bedroom property located at the top of the Estate’s sweeping drive.  This quaint retreat is the perfect country house to relax in comfortable surroundings.   Open fires, reading rooms and a beautiful dining room where all meals will be served, there is plenty of space for you to unwind.  The rooms within Home Farm are all shared.  There are also private en suite rooms allocated within the Stables & Coach Houses.  These uniquely designed rooms are spacious, opulent and the perfect place to unwind.

WASING WOODLAND:
The Wasing Estate is a wonder to walk around and to be enjoyed during your time here. With endless paths weaving in and out of deep woodland meandering past stunning lakes and views.  The nature here is a healing journey within itself.

THE FOOD:
This is full board where you will enjoy nourishing food which will be both energising and restorative for this time of year. There will also be super food snacks on tap so feeling hungry won’t be an option!

THE TEAM:
Rebecca Dennis: Rebecca, owner of www.tbreathingtree.co.uk qualified as a Transformational Breath® Facilitator and Workshop presenter with Judith Kavitz in Italy, Mexico and the UK.  She worked in media for 20 years and while working full time, she decided to study Reiki and massage to help her learn key relaxation techniques. Fascinated by her newfound knowledge of the workings of the body and mind and alternative therapies, she discovered the powerful benefits of Transformational Breathing in 2009 and now offers private sessions and workshops in London and Wasing Park.

Aimee Hartley: Aimee, owner of www.thebreathingroom.co.uk,  studied and qualified as a Transformational Breath® Facilitator and Workshop presenter with Dr Judith Kravitz, Founder of Transformational Breath Foundation, in Italy and the US and works with Alan Dolan on his visits to the UK.  She currently offers private Transformational Breath sessions and workshops in London.  A qualified Professional Yoga Teacher she has taught in the UK, Australia and South East Asia over the past 7 years

Jessica Horn: Jess, owner of www.jesshorn-yoga.co.uk  is a British Wheel and Yoga Alliance Yoga Teacher and has been taught by some of the finest teachers from around the globe.

Jess has been practicing yoga for over 17 years and teaches gently flowing, breath led and alignment based classes.

She is currently completing advanced training in ISHTA yoga and is influenced by her experience of Iyengar, Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga. She is also trained in Restorative and Yin yoga.

She strongly believes in the transformative power of yoga and in helping students to discover tools to connect more deeply and mindfully with their bodies bringing more awareness into their practice and into their lives. She is a strong advocate that yoga shouldn’t be taken too seriously and should put a huge smile on your face and in your heart!

Transformational Breath®, is a progressive healing technique which can help people access the full potential of their breathing system for better physical, emotional and mental well-being.  The connected pattern of conscious breathing is a natural, safe and easy-to-learn technique, which has proven to have many benefits almost universally, including increased energy, better immune response and increased ability to deal with stress in a positive way.

Breathing controls the functioning of every cell, and the physiology of the entire body, it is no surprise that improper breathing is a contributory factor to ill health. Transformational Breath® helps correct old unhealthy patterns of breathing, releases tension from the respiratory muscles which in turn encourages a fuller, more conscious breath.

Diaphragmatic Breathing

Diaphragmatic breathing is paramount to the Transformational Breath® process.  Experiencing a deep breath into the abdomen is not only relaxing; it’s been scientifically proven to positively affect the heart, brain, digestive and immune system. Once the breath is moving in the abdomen, the upper part of the respiratory system can be activated so eventually the breath is full, connected and active.

Rebecca and Aimee will take you teach you this cutting edge technique and you will have all the skills

and knowledge at the end of the weekend to cultivate a self practice.

The YOGA

Jess will lead you through gently flowing classes designed to help open up your energetic pathways and enhance the benefits and integration of the breath work.

Yin yoga is a practice of long-held, deeply relaxing poses that open and energize the “meridians,” or energy pathways of the body, restoring youthful joint mobility as you quietly activate and gather your ‘chi’, ‘prana’ or ‘life force’

Jess will lead you through poses designed to stretch and revitalize the deeper connective tissue in every part of the body, stimulating your meridians which connect to your vital organs and help to restore balance and harmony in your body and mind. This “needle-free” form of acupuncture will leave you feeling calm and energized at the same time.

During the retreat we will explore the power of ‘sankalpa’  setting intentions and how this profound practice can help initiate change in our lives.
